Function /Events Room Hire Terms and Conditions

This AGREEMENT contains the details of our terms and conditions for the hiring of our functions/events room. The room is available for small and medium size groups; 35-40 theatre style, 50 standing and numerous configurations for small groups. We are happy to take tentative bookings which are held for a 24 hour period. To confirm, a non-refundable booking deposit of 50% of the room hire is required, along with a signed copy of the attached booking form. If confirmation is not received within a specific timeframe the tentative booking will be cancelled.

Bookings and Confirmation
Your reservation is considered confirmed when a deposit for the Room Hire Fee is received together with a signed copy of these terms and conditions. Full payment is required at least 14 days before date of the actual function. The Inspiration Factory reserves the right to cancel bookings where confirmation is not received within these specified timeframes.
Prices
Prices of Room Hire are listed below and will remain fixed until further notice.
Included is 1/2hr set up and 1/2hr pack down at $30.oo per hour- DAY pricing, $50.oo per hr after hours and weekends including GST Eg: if room is booked from 9am -11.am, charges will be from 8.30am to 11.30am
Conduct
The client is responsible to conduct the function in an orderly manner and in full compliance with the rules and regulations of The Inspiration Factory and all applicable laws. The Inspiration Factory reserves the right to intervene if a function’s activities are considered illegal, excessively noisy or offensive.

Booklist
If you have a booklist and would like your participants to have the ability to purchase on the day, please allow 14 days for ordering. Your guests will receive a 5% discount on the day.
Damages & Cleaning Costs
The client will assume all responsibility for any damages caused by them or any of their guests, invitees or other people attending the function, whether in the function room or any other part of the shop’s premises. The client will be liable for the cost of any damages incurred as part of their function. The Inspiration Factory while taking reasonable care, will accept no responsibility for any damage to or loss of property brought in by The Client or people associated with them before, during or after the function. General and normal cleaning costs are included in the cost of Room Hire Fee, but additional cleaning fees may be charged if the function has created cleaning requirements above and beyond normal cleaning.
Commencement and closing times
Functions will commence and conclude according to the scheduled times made at the time of booking. If the function exceeds the agreed concluding time, an additional $30.oo hourly fee will apply.
Room Decoration
Within reason, clients may decorate the room as they wish. However, only magic tape and/or blue tac may be used to attach decorations. There are no circumstances where sticky tape, thumbtacks or nails are to be used in the Function room.
Payment
Accepted forms of payment are Cash, cheque and credit card. The contract signatory is liable to pay all monies due under this Agreement. Full payment of the Room Hire Fee is required 14 working days before the event. Any additional charges (eg for extended hours, additional cleaning costs, damages etc) is required to be settled at the completion of the function.
